GENERAL
MANAGER (Travel) - Location: Dubai. Our client, one of the leading
business groups in the GCC, is looking to hire a General Manager for
their travel agency dedicated in providing corporate and leisure travel,
conference meetings, management services, visa services, airline
tickets, cargo and freight services. Key responsibilities will include
setting objectives for the business; enhancing the relationship with the
GSA's; developing and implementing the sales and marketing plans;
developing guidelines of operation; motivating, managing and training
key team members; overseeing the P&L; getting actively involved in
strategic alliances by building and maintaining relationships with key
clientele; setting up an annual budget. Ideal candidates for the
position are MBA or Postgraduate degree holders with experience of
working in the GCC travel industry for a period of 10 years, the last 5
years of which should be in a senior management position. Good relations
